• John "Stack" Stachowicz - Founder

I was born and raised in the small town of Iron River in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. My childhood was spent in the woods, camping, fishing, hunting, and riding ATVs.

I met my wife in college and we enjoy a life of outdoor activities and love for animals.

I spent 12 years in the Army National Guard and deployed three times. Those friendships and experiences have brought me to this mission; as the found of Laughing Crow Veteran Adventures, my goal is to give back to the Veteran community and spread the word about what these amazing nonprofits are doing the help veterans and their families.

God has directed my path to where I am today and I am graciously eager to step off on this adventure!

  • Dan Reinke - President

I grew up on a farm in the small town of Iron River, Michigan and I currently live with my beautiful wife and daughter in Minneapolis, MN.

My federal career began in 2014 and led me to the Department of Veterans Affairs, which gave me an opportunity to support a Veteran community in desperate need of services and assistance.

The potential for LCVA to provide outreach and positive experiences for Veterans is limitless, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us!

  • Lee Rometti - Vice President

I’ve spent most of my life in Upper Michigan, in Iron River. After college I spent some time out of state before returning to spend 31 years teaching various high school classes with a business, and creative, focus. Looking back, I truly believe that working with teens is what I was called to do.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, kayaking, hiking, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation with my wife and 4 beautiful children.

I love America and am extremely thankful to all who protect our great nation.

What excites me the most about being a part of LCVA is the opportunity to help and encourage the Veteran community.

  • Joe Larkin - Treasurer

Originally from the Denver, CO area, I now live with my wife and three sons in Rockford, IL. Some of my proudest achievements include raising our children to be Godly, honest, and hardworking men as well as creating a positive impact on young men and women to a better understanding of who Christ is.

I believe that all Americans owe a debt to Veterans and if I can help give back and express my gratitude for our soldiers, I am happy to do so.

The mission of LCVA is one that I completely support and I look forward to being part of this journey.

  • Rachel Putnam - Secretary

I grew up on the west side of Madison, WI by parents who fostered my love for fishing, hunting, and shooting sports.

Nowadays, I live on a small farmette and enjoy gardening, owning horses, chickens, and raising steers. In my spare time, I enjoy competitive shooting and encouraging people to experience the sport.

I feel God calls us all to help one another and I hope volunteering for LCVA helps our Veterans see that they are important and needed.
